Email is good.

A blog ostensibly about email productivity by Chris Coyier who you can email, obviously, at chris@coyier.com

Kev Quirk has a good experience with these.

This is just one example of many email conversations I have every week with people who read my blog, or when I’ve read a post on someone else’s blog and emailed them. I think it shows the power of adding a simple “email me” button to the end of one’s posts, and why I think that this is far better than a commenting system.

I feel like this becomes a hot idea every couple of years. I tend to agree! It’s a great place to put a link like that. I like making your name and email easy to find generally (if you live a life that doesn’t make it dangerous to do so), but it especially doesn’t hurt to tap into a moment that someone else might have the thought of reaching out.

I consider it a strength of email that it’s an open door. When people are having trouble with email, it’s rarely because of a flood personally written emails.
